India-Israel Cybersecurity Connect

India-Israel Cybersecurity Connect (IICC) featured as a sub-event in Israel’s largest cybersecurity event - the 3rd Annual International Cybersecurity Conference (June 9-13, 2013). Organized by Vishal Dharmadhikari, the joint Indo-Israeli collaborative comprised of opening remarks by Ms. Vani Rao (DCM at Embassy of India) and Prof. Yitzhak Ben-Israel (Chairman of Israel’s Space Agency).

The event was moderated by international cybersecurity expert, Ms. Keren Elazari, who also emphasized on the need to develop cross-border ties to enhance the cybersecurity ecosystem. At the technology showcasing session, Israeli and Indian startups presented associated products to potential clients, investors, governmental leaders, and relevant business affiliates.

Israel’s innovation and India’s market opportunities in the cybersecurity sector offer numerous opportunities for collaboration. Alternatively, the growing trend of Indian companies producing innovative technologies; provides tremendous potential for mutual development of existing products or creation of new products with Israeli counterparts. By initiating healthy dialogue, the IICC serves as a platform for Indian and Israeli companies to develop strategic business/security ties in the cyber-domain.

India Cyber Connect will build on the accomplishments of this concept-event, and will boost cross border ties, and other forms of collaboration.
